Popping the Las Vegas cherry.

So we are back in Los Angeles and it is a gorgeous day. I bet you want to know all about our fun in Las Vegas and our little journey to the Grand Canyon? This blog will be about Las Vegas.

The Bellagio hotel and the Eiffel Tower plus more.

Las Vegas was amazing! And we wished we stayed longer. Daytime and nighttime just seemed two completely different worlds. We caught an Uber to LAX airport and had the craziest Uber driver who loved remixed Disney songs. I do have a video that he showed us that we can show you. It contains scenes from Pulp Fiction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7Ad1AuHriI. Enjoy.

The Mojave Desert on the way to Las Vegas

We left LAX at about 9:50am on the Southwest Airline and arrived in Las Vegas at 10:35am. It was a really short flight but we managed to watch an episode of Two Broke Girls. After arriving, we caught a taxi to our hotel, The Palazzo, a gorgeous all-suite resort and casino and settle into our room comfortably before going out to explore Las Vegas since we only had one whole day there. Our view of Las Vegas Strip was spectacular. Throw together a Pyramid, an Eiffel Tower, a New York skyline, a castle, a gondola, a pirate ship and what do you have? Las Vegas! This is literally what we saw plus many more which you will see in the photos. We had no desire to go to Las Vegas but now we just want to go back. We also had lunch at the White Castle which is known from the first Harold and Kumar film. White Castle is a fast food restaurant famous for selling small burger sliders. They were delicious. On our trip down the Strip we popped into Caesars Palace to check out their ceilings and statues. We also popped into The Bellagio Hotel and checked out their awesome holiday decorations in their lobby. Top-notch stuff! Another thing we did was checking out some shops that lined the Strip. One of the shops that we checked out was the M&M World which was a four-story building full of M&M goodies. This M&M World was also one of the first retail store before opening in Orlando, Florida (2005), New York City (2006), London (2011) and Shanghai (2014).  After walking from The Palazzo down to the Luxor/Excalibur we were pretty exhausted and hungry so we decided to head back to our hotel to rest before going out for dinner and seeing Zumanity, an erotic cabaret-style show by Cirque du Soleil at the New York New York Hotel & Casino. On our way back, we managed to watch the Bellagio’s water show which was a real treat.

After watching the Volcano at The Mirage, another show on the Strip that features a lagoon and fire shooters that shoot flames, we decided to have dinner at I Love Burgers which makes premium gourmet hamburgers and what we had was seriously so good that we went back again the next day for dinner. After dinner, we headed to New York New York and had some spare time so we decided to gamble some of our money away on the slots. Unfortunately we did not win anything but that’s okay. We felt like winners because we still had money for Starbucks. Soon, it was time to see Zumanity. Now Zumanity was dirty, funny, crude, sexual, and honestly a little weird and we loved every moment of it. If you are ever in Las Vegas and you want to see a Cirque du Soleil show, we highly recommend Zumanity. By then, we were completely exhausted and had to go back to our room to get some sleep before getting up early for our Grand Canyon tour which you will hear more about in the next post.
