Goodbye LA, G’Day New York!

After an exhausting four hours and 15 minutes flight from Los Angeles to New York and getting stuck in traffic for a while, we are finally in our hotel room in NYC. We almost wanted to cry when we saw the New York skyline. Nothing can describe the feelings I had of waiting for so long to see New York with my own eyes. Our hotel room is incredibly small in comparison to the one we had in LA but we are perfectly entered within the majority of New York tourist sights which is a bonus. We checked into our room and went out to Wendy’s to grab a quick lunch before deciding to walk down 5th Avenue towards the Empire State Building. We just had to check out the the Empire State Building and the scenic views from the top despite the cold. Believe me, it was freezing at the top. We also walked past some Christmas decorations and they were magically. The Americans take their Christmas decorations seriously.

Tomorrow is my birthday and David had something planned for me. I don’t know what we are doing but I can only imagine something awesome.
